Laura Webb became Director of Student Ministries in 2015 and is thrilled to get to impact the lives of students at Redeemer. Growing up in Lynchburg, she graduated from E.C. Glass high school, was a YoungLife kid, and was active her church’s youth group. With a degree in nursing from the University of Virginia, she moved to the Atlanta area and worked as a pediatric nurse and a violin teacher, as well as serving on staff at a large PCA church there. After moving back home to Virginia, she began attending Redeemer in 2003, leading worship as the church began. She has taught students to play stringed instruments at private schools in Georgia and Virginia and currently maintains a private violin studio in Lynchburg, as well as performing around the area as a free-lance musician. She loves good conversation, an abundance of music, flower gardening, and water slides. She is passionate about getting students plugged into the local church and equipping them to use their gifts for the Kingdom.
